Up My Sleeve
Well troops, as you may or may not know, I almost always have something up my sleeve besides an arm. These days, most of my time is being spent crocheting a vintage throw for m y daughter-in-law Bea, for her birthday present. Must Be Getting Old
I admit it. This past November I celebrated my 65th birthday. Bea and Guav gave me an extraordinary surprise birthday party at a B&B, with my cousins, my daughter, ( all the way from TEXAS! ), and several dear old friends present. On The Home Front
As luck would have it, things are sprouting here at Chez Guavmom: I have an avocado pit finally breaking the surface of the soil where I potted it up after letting it's root reach 3", suspended above a jar of water. A Fine Day Was Had By All
Well, my Mother's Day was perfectly lovely. Guav and Bea called me first thing in the morning, and wished me a happy Mother's Day, and invited me out for lunch with them and Brixton. Happy, happy. Joy, joy!
Well, it's been a very lovely Sunday, discounting downtime from a tummy ache. I spent a good portion of the day watching Oprah's Sunday show on her network; Super Soul Sunday. She Lives!
Hi everybody! I'm alive and well, and living in Syracuse, just ten minutes away from Guav, and his family. I moved at the end of last August into senior housing. It's really nice because I have my own apartment, which is wheelchair accessible, with an open floorplan in the living room, and there is a community room downstairs where people can ( Read more... ) -
Here At Last
Hi dear friends! So with a minimum of fuss, I arrived at the Park And Ride in NJ, where Guav met me with the car. When we got home Bea was watching Brixton sleep, which he continued to do until 8 P.M. when Bea woke him for a feeding.
