I admit it. This past November I celebrated my 65th birthday. Bea and Guav gave me an extraordinary surprise birthday party at a B&B, with my cousins, my daughter, ( all the way from TEXAS! ), and several dear old friends present. Oh yeah! That Bea is quite the little planner. The only thing wrong was that the beds
were super high off the ground, and I could barely get up on the bed. Once off, for a potty run, I couldn't get back on, and spent the rest of the night in my wheelchair. NOT cool. The place itself was lovely, and we had a nice breakfast the next morning with those guests who had stayed over. It was so great seeing everyone!

yup. Live and learn: a Band B is only as good as it's beds. Road test 'em first. specially if you've got elderly or mobility impaired guests. I kept wondering, WHAT were those innkeepers thinking when they chose such high beds?

Yeah, I myself was "missing in action" for almost three years. Last I remember, you had moved and taken that new job. The girls must be like all grown up by now! It's hard for me to believe that my little Brixton will already be three years old in a couple of months. Things are good here. I now live in a senior apt. complex in Syracuse, and am only ten minutes away from my dear son and his lovely family. My two kitties made a good adjustment from being country cats, to indoor cats. All is well. Let me hear from you again!
