Must Be Getting Old
I admit it. This past November I celebrated my 65th birthday. Bea and Guav gave me an extraordinary surprise birthday party at a B&B, with my cousins, my daughter, ( all the way from TEXAS! ), and several dear old friends present. So, I am officially a Golden Oldie. As such, I reserve the right to wax nostalgic. My nostalgic obsession right now happens to be getting to an oceanfront beach. Ah! The sound of the seagulls! The smell of the salt water! Cool, right?! I can't get this daydream out of my head. Throw in a clambake, or just a good seafood joint, and I'd be ecstatic.
Niagara Falls, Ontario also beckons me. Quite a few years ago, I took Guav and my Mom there for a weekend, and we had such a good time. Bea has never been to the FAlls. She hails from landlocked TEXAS, for crying out loud. Niagara is, and always will be spectacular. I'd love to see Bea's face upon seeing it for the first time, live and in living color.
So, now you know what Guavmom has been doing on these first really HOT days of this summer season.
I have way too much time on my hand! Ah, but a Guavmom can always dream. And scheme. ;)
