While raygungothic has been DIYing, I have been playing Baldur's Gate II. I don't know if any of you have played this, but there is a big battle at the end between the protagonist's party, the villain, Jon Irenicus and four demons. 1) I went to the Home Office to have my biometric details taken. The whole experience was efficient and quite pleasant, actually. They were very efficient and wonderfully polite. While I was browsing Amazon the other day, raygungothic decided he would like to join in. Today I received recommendations from Amazon about power tools. This is what happens if you let your husband browse when you are logged in. Granted, had it been the other way around, he would have received recommendations about needlepoint and/or skeletal preservation.

When I first became pregnant, I went on Mumsnet. I found it informative, and I still check back from time to time. However, I could never really connect with the other mums and mums to be on it. I puzzled over the reasons for this, and then I realised that the problem was that none of them would have any idea what a d20 was.

There was one thing I forgot to mention in yesterday's post which is that I do not plan to baby filter, but I will put any baby-related musings behind a cut. That said, I can now write a bit more about other things such as the link that snuggly_llama posted on her LJ and I thought it was brilliant. So, for your viewing pleasure here are tentacles!

Usually, when raygungothic and I post about important events involving the two of us, we post a photograph. In this case, however, the photograph would be awfully small and blurry.
