There was one thing I forgot to mention in yesterday's post which is that I do not plan to baby filter, but I will put any baby-related musings behind a cut. That said, I can now write a bit more about other things such as the link that snuggly_llama posted on her LJ and I thought it was brilliant. So, for your viewing pleasure here are tentacles!

I have three or four young mothers in my f-list. Their posts about their babies and children are regularly among the most interesting, lively, and often inspiring items they publish. I am looking forward to yours. This is not in any way to belittle your scholarly work - God forbid! Considerate la vostra semenza!/ Fatti non foste a viver come bruti/ Ma per seguir virtute e conoscenza. It is just to say that I am certain that your child will add a new dimension to your already interesting and (alas!) all too rare posts. (If you want to see a young mother who is also a first-rate, multi-faceted talent and who is worth knowing for both reasons and more, try haikujaguar.)
