Introducing fuzzies!
So over Easter Mark and I laid a patio, went walking with friends and family and then took our fur-babies to try to find new friends to join them! We came home with two young silver mitts ( Read more... ) -
New House guest
So a couple of weeks ago Mark and I headed up to Birmingham for an evening with my mum and then a trip across town to Proteus Reptile Rescue. Here we meet and collected our new addition to the mad house, a house snake we have named Gregory (for reasons which will be obvious to anyone who watched House).

Of Apples and Dormice
Busy weekend!
Saturday morning I was out looking for dormice with a local group. We split up & searched different parts of the wood & the team I was in were lucky enough to find 3! All were very active (for dormice) but so adorably cute!!!

Exploring Yorkshire
So this summer we'd agreed to go on holiday with my parents (so dad had someone to do long walks with & we'd get a cheap holiday!). Given mum's health earlier this summer we ended taking a week away mid-september. Mum & I looked at holiday cottages "up north" & ended up choosing one near Pickering at the south edge of the North York Moors ( Read more... ) -
Fuzz Fest 2013
So the other weekend lemming_man & I took out 4 furkids over to a field in Northamptonshire for a weekend of camping & ferrets. For starters packing the car was "interesting" - camping stuff takes up loads of room as does ferret stuff. Turns out we didn't need as much food as we took as there was nommy food provided at low cost each day ( Read more... ) -

One year on...
So this time last year we (& many of you) were ceilighing away like mad having feasted well in a beautifully decorated tithe barn! It was such a lovely day - I spent some time today going through the wedding album ( Read more... ) -
Job update...
Woohoo! Have employment for 4 days a week over the summer \o/
Next months paycheck should be nicer on my bank balance now! Although I did kinda like the extra time off! ;)
