My boss has pointed out the beginnings of an unfortunate correlation: days there are All-Hands meetings are days I get caught in some kind of Metro-delay. I got on a little bit, but not late for work late, and ended up stuck on the train for an extra 45 minutes. Today we went and had brunch with many people at Busboys & Poets down on V & 14th. The atmosphere was bright, busy, and comfortable, and the food was very good. I was definitely satisfied. It might have been a smidge expensive given the size of the portions, but the portions were more than satisfying. The coffee was pretty expensive, have to say. ( Read more... )
