an exercise in losing my zen
My boss has pointed out the beginnings of an unfortunate correlation: days there are All-Hands meetings are days I get caught in some kind of Metro-delay. I got on a little bit, but not late for work late, and ended up stuck on the train for an extra 45 minutes. Luckily today's meeting was in the afternoon, but it's still no fun to have to work late even though you left at the same time as usual.

If you follow my twitter, you know I was cranky today. bad!linda was living up to her name, and facilities seems incapable of reading, because my request for 80 chairs (to which they'd responded 'no problem!') for today was 32 chairs when I looked at the room.
We had a lot of cookies though, and even though Dorothy (lady in charge of doing all the conferencing stuff when there's video involved) was MIA for half an hour at the beginning of when we wanted to set things up, the tech all ran very well for once! So yay! didn't die! or stab anyone in the face with a pen! :Dv
I have coworkers who keep joking about hooking me up with one of their sons, which is something you can do a limited number of times before it starts venturing into Very Awkward territory very quickly (for the record, that number is 0). She's a sweet, sweet lady, but kind of red-necky, and from the stories she tells, her son sounds that way too. Also, I don't really go for blonds.
I'm going to need to make myself up a boyfriend or something.
i haven't cooked a meal in like, a week. UNTIL TODAY! and it was tasty~
I have been trying to make an effort to eat least eat some fruit every day.
whenever it's really foggy out, part of me is convinced that the world has just disappeared. rofl it gets all excited about not having to haul myself out of bed to work in the morning XD
