Today we went and had brunch with many people at
Busboys & Poets down on V & 14th. The atmosphere was bright, busy, and comfortable, and the food was very good. I was definitely satisfied. It might have been a smidge expensive given the size of the portions, but the portions were more than satisfying. The coffee was pretty expensive, have to say.

nothing like clearance! i have the worst time buying nice pants because i'm so short. dresses/skirts usually work out well because it doesn't matter how long they are, but it's way too damn cold for that shit right now.

i'm a QA person at a contractor site for SRA international
hahaha. i like having the clothes, and getting the chance to wear them. i just don't like having to shop for them.
i am planning to learn enough chinese to fake it, provided they don't say anything to me that would require actual comprehension.

Sounds like family time was good for you and you can always ask your mother if she can say into a tape recorder what you're supposed to order and then give the translation for what it is?
