There's a country song and it's about how all this guy wanted for Christmas was a baseball mitt. He has a sister who wants to go on vacation and his dad wants new golf clubs and his mom wants jewelry, but all he wants is a baseball mitt. And he has posters up of his favorite players. Hey there! I'm looking for a book (or possibly a short story) that has a scene in which a group of main characters use the hymn "How Can I Keep From Singing" as a defiant gesture. I would have watched this in the years 1992-1999 in the USA. I remember renting it pretty often from the Korean video store on my corner (it was in English on VHS, if that helps....) Anyway, I don't remember enough about it to find it successfully through google.

I have a hard time describing this to folks, so no one ever knows what I'm talking about. It's a live-action (ie., not animated) TV show from the 80s, I remember watching it on Saturday mornings.
