Gramps had a large stack of both TRUE and ESQUIRE magazines and only a few PLAYBOYs from the '50s and '60s that I inherited, skimmed and later disposed of. One risqué cartoon stands out: A couple on their wedding night are in bed, unclad, and um, ready, but the bride is rigid with fear. My friend bought a painting at an auction for something like $5-$10 and he's interested in finding out who the artist is. It's possible that it was a hobbyist and was no one famous, but he's curious. He thinks this was painted with oils. The signature says "McKeever 1955."

A cartoon from maybe around the 50's. It was wristwatches in a circus. A guy watch fell off of a tightrope or trapeze and they said "to the watch-pital he must go!"
