trying to find a film?
I watched a film with my grandfather a few years ago and have been looking for it ever since, with no luck. It played on AMC, I believe? Anyway, it was a movie made either in the 40s or 50s, and it was about a woman who was put on trial for murdering a musician while at the opera with one of his students. She confesses, and explains that the girl he was with was her estranged daughter. The murdered man had torn apart her family years earlier and she wanted to protect her daughter.
