I've been going on a clothes shopping spree lately. I recently got a raise at work and while that had everything to do with my abilities and not my appearance, I feel like dressing up a bit more often. Ya know? I'm happy to report the vast majority of cleaning that I set out to do on my days off has been done. Yay! The house is cleaned to an acceptable level. There are some things that we can pick at slowly over time, such as going through boxes and cleaning the storage space under the stairs and the basement bedroom (i.e. Poe's room). I was super excited this weekend to discover that Netflix has the Xena series on it. I loved that show as a tween/teen! So cheesy and delightful, plus I'm a sucker for Greek mythology, even though it wasn't exactly accurate in the show. I had my hair touched up yesterday. I had the sides trimmed and layered to get rid of the bulk, had my roots done and the multi-colours taken out, and am now sporting a beautiful light goldy blonde (no more platinum).
