Ukulele practice is going along well, I think. It's hard to gauge when you don't have an instructor telling you if you're doing things correctly or not. I can't play a song yet, short of little tunes I make up on the fly. Maybe I should be giving that more credit than I am. I had my appointment with MPI yesterday to get an estimate of the damage done to my scooter last week. As I expected, they want to write it off. While there doesn't seem to be any mechanical damage and it's all cosmetic, they estimate the damage to be $800. I've been using agave nectar a bit more as of late for a sweetener. I'm not opposed to using sugar; I usually buy organic raw sugar cane. I just put agave nectar in my coffee today for the hell of it/I'm low on sugar and, I have to say, it's actually pretty good! I have been sticking to the 24 Things regime (aka clutter clearing extravaganza) and it is going very well.  While the office still has work to be done in it, I am feeling a lot better about it.  Dozens and dozens of papers have been put aside for burning or tossed in recycling, a box has been sent for recycling, and I now know what is in one box ( ( Read more... )

Our neighbours behind us are very much "this is my property line and this is your property line - don't cross!".
