Ukulele practice is going along well, I think. It's hard to gauge when you don't have an instructor telling you if you're doing things correctly or not. I can't play a song yet, short of little tunes I make up on the fly. Maybe I should be giving that more credit than I am. I have been sticking to the 24 Things regime (aka clutter clearing extravaganza) and it is going very well.  While the office still has work to be done in it, I am feeling a lot better about it.  Dozens and dozens of papers have been put aside for burning or tossed in recycling, a box has been sent for recycling, and I now know what is in one box ( ( Read more... )

It feels weird not getting a birthday tattoo this year.  I've been getting tattooed every January since I turned 18.  The reason I'm not?  Well, there are a few reasons:

1. I couldn't commit 100% to an idea.

Alright! So I managed to get a Kobo yesterday (and on sale - woo!) as my Earth Day challenge reward for "not buying anything new" for the month. I almost failed when I saw a shirt I liked on sale.
