Last year, I decided I would try to be more sustainable throughout the rest of the year by buying products (especially clothes) that were either thrifted or locally made. I have been sticking to the 24 Things regime (aka clutter clearing extravaganza) and it is going very well.  While the office still has work to be done in it, I am feeling a lot better about it.  Dozens and dozens of papers have been put aside for burning or tossed in recycling, a box has been sent for recycling, and I now know what is in one box ( ( Read more... )

It feels weird not getting a birthday tattoo this year.  I've been getting tattooed every January since I turned 18.  The reason I'm not?  Well, there are a few reasons:
