Just Sing, Little Darling, Sing With Me...
I still haven't heard from MPI and I'm not going to bother following up with them.
Friday evening, we had a wrestling show. As always, it was fun hanging out with some people there. There was still a creepy guy trying to be overly friendly with me, but I brushed him off this time. I didn't want to go through the weird song and dance like last time. He keeps trying to add me on FB after each encounter. I'd say poor guy but that wouldn't be an accurate reflection of my feelings. I just delete the request each time.
Saturday evening, I went to a potluck hosted by my dear friend, Jen. It was a LOT of fun! While I had already met everyone there, one person, Lena, I hadn't yet had an extended conversation with so it was nice to get to know her better. The thing with this group of people is that they're open to physical affection like cuddling without there having to be anything romantic behind it. It was lovely getting to cuddle with Deanna, Lena, and Jen. It's very warm and comforting to cuddle with other women. I see future cuddle dates with Lena and Jen for sure.
My creative juices have been sparked now that I keep looking at upcycling projects on FB. I want to convert dresser drawers into nightstands. Will I be able to do so? Stay tuned!
I got an update from Poe's new family. He spends about 90% of his days outside now on a harness with a 30 metre rope. He likes to lie in their poppy garden. I'm so happy to hear that! It sounds like he's very happy where he is and maybe he'll finally lose some of his chub now that he's outside roaming. *lol*
