You Taste Like Whiskey When You Kiss Me...

I'm happy to report the vast majority of cleaning that I set out to do on my days off has been done. Yay! The house is cleaned to an acceptable level. There are some things that we can pick at slowly over time, such as going through boxes and cleaning the storage space under the stairs and the basement bedroom (i.e. Poe's room). There's no rush for those so I'm not worried. Now, let's hope that we can keep the tidiness up...

Poe peed in the bathtub the other evening. Admittedly, I wasn't all that upset because at least he didn't do it on the floor or on stuff of ours. If he wants to piss in the bathtub then fine. However, I thought this problem had been dealt with and to see this now makes me wonder where else he might be going. *sigh* We're still looking at re-homing options for him, even though it kinda kills me because I feel like a total fucking failure to this cat who was entrusted to me. I don't think it would be easy to find him a home because, while he's very handsome, he's about to be a 9 year old cat who has a urinary behavioural problem. Who would want to adopt that? Perhaps at this point he should be someone's barn cat if he can't behave like a proper, decent indoor cat.

17th book of 2012 completed. Trans/Love: Radical Sex, Love & Relationships Beyond the Gender Binary edited by Morty Diamond.

Likelihood of me recommending this book to anyone (out of 5) - 5. If you like anthologies and are open to gender expression and sexuality outside of cis male or cis female, then I'd definitely recommend this book. I like to take a break from reading consistent stories once in awhile and just enjoy anthologies. The stories are relatively short, but they are all very good. I don't think there was any story that I found boring. Some of the stories are sexual, some are not. It's a good healthy mix of both.
