Friday was the Loan Wolves' Christmas party. We met up at the New Rose, and after a few drinks headed to a Brazilian restaurant. All-you-can-eat buffet, and waiters bringing joints of rare beef, chicken wings, chorizo, pork and chicken hearts to serve at your plate. Work Christmas party last night. Held, for credit crunchy reasons, in the student common room. A tasty Indian food buffet was delivered. The library staff won one of the "Awards for Excellence" for implementing Lawbore Pro. On Thursday, I went with inkognitoh, silverjet_allie and Pete to the Barbican's Twisted Christmas show, which featured a lot of cool music, along with shadow puppetry, a culinary shaggy dog story, and Heston Blumenthal recreating the smell of christmas onstage. Loan Wolves end-of-season party last night. We had a meal at Le Mercury, featuring the now-traditional end-of-season awards, then went on for drinks at the King's Head, where we took over the empty theatre. Went up to visit copperbird and Rob this weekend, for GenCon UK.
We went for breakfast at a cafe before the con, where I tried to get the brown sauce out of the bottle and it, er, exploded. Played a bit of City of Heroes on Friday after work. Will be away for most of Christmas, so won't get another chance for a bit. Levelled Gentle Butterfly up to 21.
