Brief update on last few days
Came nowhere in quiz on Thursday. Well, fourth, which is actually worse than nowhere. copperbird and I had brought WoW card decks with us, but didn't have time to play before quiz.
Friday was the Loan Wolves end of season bash. Matt had done a sterling job organising, and was a good MC for the awards dinner, at the Mercury. My award this year was "team poet", for my Anglo-Saxon sporting epic. I awarded Matt his, the "Tequila!" award for services to team morale. Good evening, marred only by scary aggressive moron on the night bus home.
On Sunday I visited wascally_weasel and Bryony at their new home. Nice place - big garden. We went for a walk by the river, and saw the Kings' Stone of Kingston. We also tried out various pubs in the area, bought take-away curry and watched X Men 3 on DVD.
