Friday was the Loan Wolves' Christmas party. We met up at the New Rose, and after a few drinks headed to a Brazilian restaurant. All-you-can-eat buffet, and waiters bringing joints of rare beef, chicken wings, chorizo, pork and chicken hearts to serve at your plate. Keir came along to the quiz last week. He was just back from a holiday, visiting old friends in Hong Kong and Malaysia. He'd brought Guinness polo shirts for us, trophies from a pub quiz he and his friends had won in HK.

Went up to visit copperbird and Rob this weekend, for GenCon UK.
We went for breakfast at a cafe before the con, where I tried to get the brown sauce out of the bottle and it, er, exploded. Softball tournament on Saturday. Advertising industry league, but they were short of teams so we got to play. Early morning in order to get to Barnes Bridge for nine.
