Its been a quiet lead up to Memorial day weekend this year. The weather has been mostly cooler than normal, and dryer than normal, so keepign up with the grass hasnt been too hard. 4 hours.. That's how long he lasted doing dishes.. and at that he was having anxiety attacks and was getting overcome from the heat and clostrophobia in the 'kitchen'. Well, today I did my civic duty and went in for jury duty. As expected, I did not get called to serve. None of us did. They did have a trial, but opted for a judge trial. Done and done.. Another Memorial day weekend here and all that coudl be done was. The report this year is that we are a month behind. Given the loss of March because of the snow still being on the ground, and April and May for near constant funerals, there are still piles of leaves to be picked up, but the bulk of them were got. So my Cuz's husband is once again losing his job. A year and a half after being laid off the first time, and then being re-hired, his company is now moving out of state, so that is quite simply, that. In 2 weeks they will have no heath care either. So, my Cuz's husband got called to come back to work. Seems the state is getting involved in how the company dumped the entire staff with no notice, then tried to open again under a new name. My Cuz's husband lost his job. Well, he didn't lose it, they dumped him and most of the company. He's in graphic design, and adds, and well, we all know what's going on in that world.
