My Aunt Carol, who works human relations for Hewitt, has some clients in St. Louis. And this time, when she was down for business, she stopped in to visit me as well! So our papers are due December 11th. But today the professor emailed us to say we have 20 minute read paper presentations on the 30th of November. WHAT. I wish I would have known that before I relaxed all week. Boo.

My lecture went great! My fellow Hitchcock TAs were there, Casey peeked in for the middle half hour (which made me feel awesome and a lot more confident), and Robert stopped by to check it out as well. I'm giving my History of Islam lecture today to ~180 students! Gah! I think it will go well. I gave the lecture to Casey yesterday. I've just got to be relaxed and explain the stuff I know. Practice lecture on History of Early Islam came in at 52 minutes! My fellow TAs had some wonderful feedback, comments, and compliments for me. They're champs. I really appreciated Dan's approval and thoughts, considering he's taking the history of Islam class right now!

Well I'm into the first week! I've been to my classes this semester, and yesterday and today I taught my first college classes. Oh. And the D and S keys should not be so close together. I just called Jen Popiel "Sr. Popiel" instead of "Dr. Popiel," and didn't realize the typo until the email was sent. That only works for Spanish professors... who are male... neither of which she is.
