I am glad today is through. I turned in my review and my bibliography, prepared my talk, and gave it. I think it went well - I may have slipped a bit into my boring voice but overall I explained the main themes of the book and the author's complex economic ideas and hopefully wasn't too repetitive. Also, the best part was that I got asked LOTS of questions (aka, people were listening and interested) and I could answer ALL of them cause I paid super good attention to this book. Go me.
I disagree with the end of the movie Cast Away, which I caught on TV today. Love that soundtrack though.
I try to be cute/professional and wear my little brown shoes with my khakis to class instead of wearing my Sauconys and I think the universe is discouraging me from doing so, cause I have six blisters on my feet, and I only walked a few blocks from SLU to Walgreens today after class with Robert. I did have a great time talking to him about Dragonlance and Eddings though. mmmm nerdy.
I got my generic claritin at walgreens today - it's about that time. There's flowering trees EVERYWHERE! I think every tree in Saint Louis is made of pink or white flowers right now. And there's daffodils everywhere! I love spring daffodils - reminds me of easter egg hunting at grammie's house cause she always had that patch of daffodils in the front. Mmm spring! It's hard for me to believe it's REALLY not going to be 30 degrees anymore, and that I can put my sweaters away.
why am I so wiped? probably cause I just took a HOT shower that singed my skin and am in a big soft terrycloth robe. mmm comfort and cleanliness.
