Well, even though there are plenty of loan options for first-time home buyers from the federal & state gov't's, I think Kyle and I are pretty much going to hang up our home hunting hats for the time being and resign our apt. lease. Just remembered as my head hit the pillow that I forgot to unplug the baby crock-pot at home. :-/ Pray with me that it does not short circuit or something and catch our apt. on fire....b/c that would not be good. I don't think it will b/c it's tiny, but you never know. We'll be back home tomorrow afternoon. But still...

Today started out like any other day, really. Headed to church, praise team rehearsal, Sunday School, & then service. The service was INCREDIBLE! Just full of joy, which was just great. So, I think it's safe to say we all know the outcome of last night's election. I would be lying if I were to say I wasn't disappointed. However, the world has not collapsed and fallen into a dark abyss. I was at a soccer game...and loving every minute of not being at home. :)
