So, I think it's safe to say we all know the outcome of last night's election. I would be lying if I were to say I wasn't disappointed. However, the world has not collapsed and fallen into a dark abyss. The banks are open, the mail is still running, I have internet access this morning, and the aliens have not invaded

I know that the results disappointed you and I would never rub them in to you (just my mother who volunteered for McCain/Palin on Eday - lol!)
The balance of power will always shift back and forth. This election it's the Democrats turn. Who know what will happen in 2012, 2016 and so on.
But thank you so much for your words and your never-ending support and encouragement. I am so lucky to have you as a friend and do know that I am equally as proud of you for all that you've accomplished. I was really annoyed with myself that I forget to bring your CD to PA with me but I'm looking forward to listening to it once I'm home in a few days.
