I feel the same way. Celebrities can endorse who they like, but lordy lordy, who really CARES?!

My opinion on making fun of Bush is that all public figures are perfectly legitimate targets for mocking if they do something stupid. Ted Stevens (former Senator, now charged with corruption) accidentally spawned an Internet meme with his "series of tubes" comment, and I think it's hilarious. I'm honestly trying to think of a time when a Democrat Senator said something as stupid as Stevens, but I can't. Probably because they're too afraid of ruffling feathers to actually speak up ( ... )

Well, I totally agree that it is within our God given rights to speak up and out against someone or something we don't agree with. I guess it just bugs me when these so-called "celebrities" do it, when all they are is jumping on some PR bandwagon and influencing an upcoming generation. I just see our society lacking in respect for one another. That's all, really.
