I've searched for History/ Social Studies job opening at school district websites in the state, starting A through N, tonight. So far I've seen 1 full time (Davenport) and one 0.8 time (Chimacum). Last Thursday one of my old JV players, who moved up to starting varsity this year, asked me before class why I wasn't coaching next year and she was mad that I wasn't. I received a phone call two days ago from the high school principal giving me a heads up that a couple coaching positions were coming open that were filled. One of these paid positions was my JV Volleyball job. He repeated two or three times that I "did nothing wrong, just get your application in" and they "just wanted to see what else is out there ( Read more... )
