Dear Congress,
I am a substitute teacher that makes less than $20,000 per year. Last summer I hurt my knee while coaching volleyball. I would bet the money I don't have that I have meniscus damage in that knee but I cannot afford health insurance or any surgeries required to fix it if that is the case. I need health care, if not just to fix this, but anything else that may happen in life. Please, give me some kind of affordable health care so I can get this achey knee finally taken care of and that I will be able to have the services available to me that people with more money can afford. The amount of money in my pocket should not make me less entitled to health care.
Thanks,
Dave
