My hamster has a tumour under chin (well at least I think it's a tumour.. the vet couldn't tell). Her health has rapidly gone from good to very very bad these past few days & now one of her eyes won't open. i was wrong about rollie's lump being a fatty tumor, it must be cancer. he has become very ill. for the last few days i have had to hold his water bottle above his head so he can drink from it. i've also had to stick food right next to him and hand feed him. he will not get up from where he has been sleeping. i finally moved him yesterday. when i ( Read more... )

i recieved bad news from the vet. he said that the lump/bump is probably either a fatty tumor or a cancers one. he said the hamster is older and that putting them to sleep it's really a good idea. that he could just die from being put to sleep. he said that if it was a cancers tumor he would probably die within a short period of time. since he didn ( Read more... )

Gaz is sick again... we're gonna have to take her to the vet tomorrow to find out what's wrong with her. although i'm pretty sure i know what's wrong already. i think she's getting another tumor.. which definately isn't good. if this is just going to be a continual thing i don't know what i'm going to do, i don't want her to be sick on and off ( Read more... )

my hamster is dieing because of tumors, and she is becoming worse and worse, she wont even get up NE more, and when she eats she take 3 seeds. I feel soo bad for her, adn i kno there is not much else i can do, but NE suggestions on keeping her comfortable? Thanx, all is appreciated.
