when I was at a pet store this past weekend, the small animal section was one side of the aisle, and the bird stuff was on the other. i noticed birds get yogurt drops, too. i saw a bag of yogurt drops that were sunfloweres covered in blueberry yogurt. do you think that they would be too much for robohamsters? it would just be a treat here and there ( Read more... )

I adopted Cupcake from a local breeder in September. I saw her cream-colored fur and little tan stripe and just fell in love. She was named after the vanilla cupcakes I was fond of making at the time.

To make this to the point, my seven month old syrian, Chip, is a diabetic. His urine is high in ketones. He is very dehydrated and his urine is the consistency of pus. I force fed him water with pedialyte and his legs and arms twitched slightly, and now he is in a coma. I have three hamsters, a 10 month old male russian dwarf (Rasputin), and two 8 month old male Roborovskis (Gizmo and Gadget). All three are housed seperately, by the way.
