Hey

Last night Muffin looked like he was having a mad turn/fit.. he kept turning around as if he had an itch on his back he couldn't reach. Then he sat & cleaned furiously for 20 minutes non-stop. It was really late & I couldn't get him to stop so I went to bed hoping he'd calm himself down.

This morning I went to check on him & he was so cold. He couldn't move & just looked lifeless. I took him out & tried to warm him up for an hour by just holding him. He's back in his chage & he's still the same.

I'm thinking it could be a stroke. Can diabetes cause a stroke?
He drinks so much water so I think he could have diabetes. I wish I had detected it sooner then maybe I could have treated the diabetes & he wouldn't be like this :[
I also think maybe it was my fault because just before he had his mad turn I was trying to get him out; maybe I scared him? :[

I hope he'll pull through.
This happened the last time I had a Campbells dwarf... she drank alot & then one day she had a stroke. She recovered but then had another & died. I hope Muffin will survive & be okay :[

I feel like such a bad hamster owner.
