How much are hamsters capable of thinking? Mine understand repeated behaviours, such as hand = attention/treat, open cage door = out. Do they have any idea that they're caged? That they go nowhere on their wheels? (Frankie has a tendency to jump out and run around, looks like he's trying to find something new while he's running) etc?

I decided to create this journal to go alongside my hamsters fanlisting at hamsters.ice-pixi.net because I adore hamsters and I know that a lot of other people do too.
