Some of Snake's little toenails are pretty long. I don't remember ever having to trim my syrians nails before. I can hold him, but usually only for a few seconds at a time.

So how can I trim them? I don't want them to cause him any problems. Or can he take care of it himself?

Hello everyone.

I have a 1 year old male hammie and his finger and toe nails are starting to grow rather long. I heard that some people cut them, to prevent them from growing longer.

How do you do it? It's a very very small creature and it's so dear to me and I'm afraid to do anything wrong.

My Robo hammies' nails are getting a bit long and I've seen people talk about using stones or rocks of some kind in the cage to help let them run down their nails themselves, but I can't find anywhere anyone says what specific kind of rock/stone to use.
