It's so easy to get FOMO when you're not doing anything, and sometimes everyone just wants to remind you of that, by posting their own good times in their news feeds, or saying "But you'll miss out/You're missing out". It's like they want to turn things round and make them feel negative.

My first mindfulness challenge day was to listen to a piece of music, and do nothing else - I always get tempted to want to do something, and blitz through my chores, so just sitting still was a bit of a challenge.
