The past few days have been chaotic with trying to get the end of year show ready for its opening tonight. I spent Monday putting up all the banners - well, the 6 banners that had been printed that is - and then Tuesday was spent setting up my book on display in the cabinet. I took my book to the printers this morning. I'm really excited to see the finished result but at the same time completely paranoid that there's going to be a problem with it. In M's class last week, she made some phone calls for quotes on getting the banners printed. The cheapest one she found was £21+VAT (£25.20) which is about £5.20 more than I really would have liked but a hell of a lot better than £40 ( Read more... )

Friday was a nightmare. My usual Friday timetable starts with L at 9.00 till 11.25 and then D from 11.30 to 1.00pm, at which point I scarf down my dinner and get the bus home at 1.15. Today is the deadline for my FMP. I didn't have the time to redo my sketch for Eleven so I'm rather disappointed about that. I had several things to finish off yesterday, including saving the entire book (and banner) as a .pdf which did not happen because my laptop could not deal with a 200+MB file.
