I am considering selling some prints of my artwork as I'm rather in need of funds at the moment* so I'm wanting to gauge how much interest there would be. Seeing as it's coming up to a festive time of year, I thought this might be a good time to sell art

I'm glad you think so. I realised that I'd actually asked this before and got no interest then either. Quite disappointing.

I wonder how places like Zazzle and so on work, where you can get your designs added to anything? They'd be great on mugs or a totebag or something.. (and i hope i've not mentioned that previously because i've got a nagging suspicion I have but maybe not..)

I can't remember whether you've mentioned them before or not. I had a look at the site and I'm not sure how good it would be. It says that you can set your own royalty amount so if you select 20%, you get 20% of the sale amount. Obviously I'd like to get as much as possible but if you set the amount higher, it puts the price up which is likely to put people off from buying it. It sounds like you'd have to sell a lot of stuff to make any money from it and you only get the profits once a year, minus a processing fee :-/

I'm really confused by your question. You frame them and hang them on the wall. What would you expect to do with a print?
