Goodness, that is a lot of busy things. YAY for your award! I'm not remotely surprised but it's still so nice. It is a shame that no one else from your course was there to witness it though. I snrked at the bit about you having a very challenging class to work with. ;) And yay for getting a lot of your stuff back, although it's a shame they couldn't keep it better organised so you could actually get it all back. You'd be penalised if you only handed in half the stuff they wanted; why should they get to lose your stuff? Feh to that. I'm glad you've got the main paintings of Chester back though, and the models. But so much yay for being done and getting Student of the Year™! Whatever will you spend your Amazon card on??

When the awards thing was mentioned at the opening night for the end of year show, two others in my class said they were going to be there. One of them actually was in college that day but disappeared off somewhere about half 1 and I didn't see him again the rest of the day.

I'm glad I got back some of the work though. The first brief for N and the models for the video game brief were the only things that didn't get returned. I'd forgotten about the models until I saw them on a shelf a few weeks ago and I have no idea why N kept that first brief. He kept everyone's so it wasn't just mine.

I was surprised that I got some money type stuff as well as the certificate. The people who won the main awards just got a trophy. Ha. I'm not sure what I'll use the giftcard for. There's a couple of Doctor Who books that have come out for the anniversary that I've had my eye on, like Doctor Who: The Vault, Who-ology or the Character Encyclopaedia. In that order of preference, I think. The first one sounds best and it was v expensive ( ... )

Very odd of N to keep that first brief. I'm glad you got it back though!

Definitely better to use tutorials that are both superior and free than to use a £10 book (or a £26 book)! Those Doctor Who books sound nice though. And I do still owe you £10.62 that you could put toward such a purchase if you wanted. :)

Oh, I know you still owe me money, believe me! I was planning on maybe using it for that Doctor Who belt though.

I'll try but I really need to find a job. I'm having surgery soon anyway so I'll be resting for several weeks after that!

I know, so embarrassing :P Did I say about the girl who only handed in 2-3 study sheets for her FMP and nothing else? She didn't get a banner printed out for the end of year show either so I'd be surprised if she passed the course at all.
