I took my book to the printers this morning. I'm really excited to see the finished result but at the same time completely paranoid that there's going to be a problem with it. Several weeks ago, N gave me back the first piece of work I did on this course and said that the only problem with it was the text didn't stand out from the background so it was difficult to read. He then said I had that problem a lot which was news to me. So now I'm concerned that the text in my book is going to be illegible *sigh* Thanks for that, N.
The other thing I'm concerned about is the paper I've chosen. The bloke dealing with my order was no help at all. I'd initially gone for a glossy 140gsm but I thought it was too flimsy so I've changed it to 160gsm instead. That's got a matte finish though, the glossy only came in 140 or 150. I want to make sure it'll stand up to lots of people flicking through the pages and not run the risk of easily getting bent or creased.
Bloke said it'll be ready Thursday. Actually, he said it would more than likely be ready tomorrow but he'd say Thursday to be on the safe side. So hopefully, there will be a squee post sometime in the next day or two.
