We had a sort of "skip it" weekend around here. We did manage to decorate the living room, and affirm that the Scrooged DVD that I bought actually works, by watching it. And, I made spaghetti! With turkey meatballs from Trader Joe's.

That's about it.

Well. The weekend is over, which is almost the best thing I can say about it. All my lack of sleep caught up to me and I slept like a zombie through most of Saturday. Mmmmm. White bean soup with a sprinkle of shredded parmesan, some toasted garlic cheddar bread, and an Anchor Steam beer. No, I'm not worried about drinking this early in the day, because this is actually my evening. I'll be going to bed soon, full and very happy.

This would be a good weekend to bake a pie, as the kids will be here and they can eat it all up for us.

Then again, maybe I should wait until Monday. *snicker*

The temperature got down last night, below 60 degrees. Almost enough to make me want a jacket.
