Mmm, autumn food!

Jimmy beat me to the crockpot and made another pot of beans, and this time he added smoked ham hocks. I put on my Big Girl Pants (TM) to try it, because I admit I'm a little wigged out by food with recognizable animal parts in it. (Even though they weren't recognizable anymore by the time it was served). I can't deny it that they were super-tasty, served with cornbread and some Harvest Moon ale.

Dessert: more cornbread, this time with butter and pear preserves. Mmmmm!
