I feel really good right now. I really do. I think the real reason I haven't gone to bed yet is because I feel good and I want to hold onto that.

when i sit at the piano and play, it brings tears to my eyes because i am not nearly as good as i should be and it's all my fault

when i open my mouth to sing, it brings tears to my eyes because i am better than i ever imagined i could be, and i get better every day

1) i finally cleaned out the shitty car so my mom can donate it. i filled an entire large grocery bag with recyclables and another large grocery bag plus a target bag with garbage. the only salvageable items i pulled out were two ice scrapers and two pair of sunglasses. wow. the great part is when i opened the back door, i was showered with ( Read more... )

i actually have a future, and it's mine.

i have passion and motivation and talent... and all in the same direction.

i believe in myself.  for the first time, i believe in myself.
and i hope you do too.
but if you don't, that's your own problem.
i don't need anyone's approval anymore.

today was the best day i've had in a hell of a long time
a lot of really good things
a billion smiles
and a ton of laughter
and friends
and family
and freedom
