last fall i thought my voice had recovered.  i was still struggling at times, but i thought it was just because i sucked at singing.

last week, my throat was out-of-order and i was on vocal rest.
monday i started singing again.
it was a sound i had never heard before.

the RAs hosted a valentines day dance tonight... in the BALLROOM... we don't do that dance-in-the-caf bullshit!

it was freaking amazing.

i hadn't been to a dance since freshman year... this was well worth the wait.  i'm honestly not sure if i've had more fun at a dance since... umm... girl scout date night in elementary school!  :-P
