valentines day is dumb, but dances are awesome!
the RAs hosted a valentines day dance tonight... in the BALLROOM... we don't do that dance-in-the-caf bullshit!
it was freaking amazing.
i hadn't been to a dance since freshman year... this was well worth the wait. i'm honestly not sure if i've had more fun at a dance since... umm... girl scout date night in elementary school! :-P
seriously... it's so much more fun to go to a dance without a date.

my next mission is to find out the names of all the people i spent most of the night dancing with. i mean... i know some of them... but... definitely not all of them. hopefully someone will tag them in the pics on facebook. :-)
okay... i was going to sing... but i'd better just jump in the shower then get to bed. shit... i have to sing at 11:00 in the morning in front of peter's class. EEK! singing valentines all day. :-D except that as of 4:00 today we only had 3 bookings... but we have a history of picking up a billion more during the day. craziness. ahhhhhh... i'm supposed to have my music down for the opera tomorrow too. umm... guess i'll hit the practice room by... 9? holy shit... that's early to be singing menotti...
