two successes of the day:
1) i finally cleaned out the shitty car so my mom can donate it. i filled an entire large grocery bag with recyclables and another large grocery bag plus a target bag with garbage. the only salvageable items i pulled out were two ice scrapers and two pair of sunglasses. wow. the great part is when i opened the back door, i was showered with chipped paint, and when i closed the trunk, seriously, chunks of rust fell off. sick, just sick.
2) i confiscated the last (at least i think/hope it's the last) of the pictures of zack and me on display. last time i was home i took down the framed 5x7 that was sitting at the bottom of the stairs. it's still in the frame, but it's face-down under the end table. but there was still one 3.5x5 on display on the table in the living room. i decided to take a slightly different approach this time. today i replaced that picture with:
soooo much more appropriate.
