I spent the day at the midwife's house doing 9 prenatals.  A few of them are women who should birth while I'm here so it was nice to meet them.  Liz admitted that she was very apprehensive about taking on another student - she's had bad experiences before - but this afternoon when she was introducing me to a client she said she was "very impressed ( Read more... )

I spoke with an Alberta midwife today and she is willing to take me as a student.  She said I should come as soon as I am able but Jack is going up north to work for a week (leaving Tuesday) so I won't be gone until the end of the March, at the earliest.  Maybe when the girls are on their school break I'll go?
