I need to be reminded that I am moving forward, so to document my microscopic progress....
Today, I:
* filled out a few more pages in the PLEA application.
* located and copied several documents and certificates for PLEA
* requested and paid for an official transcript from my school, for PLEA
* emailed an inquiry about student placements in Nunavut (no-go)
* emailed HIROC about temporary or short term liability insurance - no reply yet
* received update from MAS after some members met with HIROC representative (confidential)
* went through birth numbers and clinical records to find numbers for PLEA application
Still to do:
* get paperwork notarized for PLEA
* talk to local unemployed nanny about childcare
* submit documents to complete Diagnostics Lab course
* review IV Therapy course and arrange to do practical with local EMT's
* finish PLEA application and submit ASAP!
* study for written exam in September
* arrange clinical placement somewhere SOON
* continue work on Herbology practical assignments
* contact Lloyds of London insurance company about short term liability
* contact ECH office regarding my possible placement with Dr. E
* contact midwives in Calgary about possible placements
* choose topic for Complications research assignment (PPHN maybe?)
* do required reading for Complications, Midwifery Support Skills, and Herbology
* so.much.more.
For now, I'm going to bed. Charlotte should be due to wake up as soon as I get warm and sleepy :-/
