Finally, I finished and submitted my first assignment (3 short essays) for Issues in Aboriginal Women's Health.  Next, unit 3 and 4 reading and study questions, then the mid-term.

Pick-pick-picking away (at a *%$#ing snail's pace, as birthingway would say ;-)

I submitted a rough outline of my lit review to my instructor and she confirmed that I was on the right track.  I have almost all of my notes and references ready, now I just need to piece it all together in the format of a literature review and get 'er done!

I finished another assignment for my Research & Stats class.  I had to read three literature reviews, reference them appropriately (APA) and comment on the writing styles (?).  I poked around on the Cochrane website and came up with these three:

Two years ago, our government proclaimed the legislation to make midwifery a legal and regulated profession in our province.  They wanted to make this a service that was accessible to every woman in our  province.  The progress is slow and I decided to write some letters to remind them of their original goal.  I've asked for more funding to hire ( Read more... )

Section 5 of Business is done.  I really wanted to be done this course before the new semester started.  Since I haven't completed this course I am still an "active" student and I hope I don't have to pay for another full year of student fees.  That would really burn ( Read more... )

I got my final marks for my Breastfeeding class:

99.4% on my assignments (66% of my final grade)
96.3% on my final exam (33% of my final grade)

Another "A" for meeeeee :-)

And once my Herbology final exam arrives at the school and is graded, I'll have only ONE class left to do.

I wrote my Herbology final exam tonight.  I wouldn't say I aced it, but I did well and I know I passed.  I'm so thrilled that I'm now officially done that course!  I have to photocopy a couple of pages from my skills guide and then I will have the documentation I need to officially complete my last three lab classes too!  WOOT!!

When Jack put Charlotte down for a nap we went downstairs.  He put on a movie and I set myself up with my laptop and books and completed another section of Herbology!  All I have left now is about half of Section 7 (the last section) and the final exam!   I was moving along quite well but now I've come to the assignment where I have to research 25 ( Read more... )
