After a long, full day I've settled into the recliner with my feet up. Today was my first day back at work and first day of being officially full-time and consisted of a practice meeting, peer review, client selection for Spring babies, team discussion about some clients, and an unscheduled clinic visit with one of my clients. * OSCE's are done - oh what a relief that is!

* Laundry done.  Clean sheets and clean pj's tonight :-)

* Munched popcorn while I did the CMRE practice exam and got a passing mark (88%).  I have 7 months to study for the real one.

* Reviewed 2 of the modules I need to look over for Wednesday's exam.

A Friday night in Toronto, the TIFF is still going on, I didn't have to worry about kids or childcare and how did I spend my Friday night?  Eating pizza at my desk while I typed class notes, skyped for an hour, and went to bed with Harry Potter.  Woop-woop.  I am most definitely not the young urban woman looking looking for the hot spots in ( Read more... )

I dutifully packed up my computer and books to work on my modules over the next few days but the books are across the room doing a nice job of holding down the chair, and they shall stay there for tonight.

I'm in the city for a few days to do an 'observational placement' with the midwives here and I'm looking forward to it.  It would be even better ( Read more... )
