I feel a bit scattered today, trying to get back into my Toronto routine.  The flight here was fine, no more than the usual bumps of turbulence.  It's been raining lightly off and on today and everything is certainly wet but no crazy weather.  Anything wild happened on Monday and things have settled down here (so no worries, Mom!).

Today:  Last minute shopping for Julia's birthday party and my trip.  Laundry, and PACKING!  When Jack gets home, we'll carve pumpkins.

In anticipation of the movie release on Nov 18th, I've started reading Breaking Dawn again and I'll take it on my trip.  Although, if I have much time for reading or sleeping, I'll be disappointed ;-)

Work today.  I'm grateful for the job that I have, but it's discouraging to lose the battle with the paperwork almost every day, despite my best efforts.  Logically, I know I'm making progress and accomplishing things but as quickly as I can process hospital paperwork, the dozens of staff members are working with patients and creating more!

I did a bit of scrapbooking this morning and then took Julia and Charlotte out to trick or treat this afternoon.  Kim helped get Charlotte ready, then stayed home to hand out candy.  It was such a beautiful day, probably the nicest weather we've ever had for Halloween - sunny, +9, no snow - perfect!  There were lots of kids out and about and some ( Read more... )

For the past couple of weeks I've taken some time to scrapbook and it feels good to know that I'm slowly making progress.  I enjoy doing it, knowing my girls will have these photo memories forever, and I like to look through them too.  So after yesterday's scrapbook therapy, I took some pictures of my recent pages.
